Team V Arsenal (quarter final)
Tough one this, its up now because its only Tuesday and Moyes has a decision to make.

Keep the same team? or rest the current starting 11 for Newcastle? I want us to go for it and try and win but a little conservative with the team I think.

Hart
Reid Rice Cresswell
Fernandes Obiang Lanzini Kouyate Masuaku
Arnie Hernandez

Rest Zab, Noble (may be injured anyway) Ogbonna, Antonio and Adrian.

Think we need to offload Carroll and Ayew in Jan

Great for the lad. Been saying for a while that we have to give him some game time soon with the various rumours doing the rounds

"So it's not being televised anywhere?"

It's showing on my secret squirrel website in their schedule, only on SD though. They've updated it from yesterday, as it only had TBD, so it might possibly be televised somewhere in the world.

have a feeling Haksabanovic will have a role to play tonight - esp if no lanzini or arnie.

Re: Team V Arsenal (quarter final)
Hart
Zabaleta Collins Ogbonna Cresswell

Rice Obiang Quina Masuaku

Sakho Hernándeza

Virtually the side we finished with at Stoke (but with Hart given a go and Quina in for Lanzini)

If Byram is Fit then replace Zabaleta

big game to throw him in but I've seen quite a bit of young Ben Johnson and I'd rather him there if we have to rest Zaba

I just cannot put Antonio at RWB after those horror performances where we threw a champions league place away.

Having said that we may be forced into that tomorrow if Zab doesn't pass as fit.

With that list of injuries looks like certain players who need a rest wont get one.

Reid Collins Cresswell
Antonio Obiang Rice Masuaku
Ayew
Sakho Hernandez

Based on the injuries to*

--Johnson--Reid--Ogbonna--Cresswell--Masuaku--
---------------------Rice--------Obiang-------------------------

--------------------Sakho--Chicharito-------------------------

Based on no injuried to:

Byram
Zabaleta
Noble
Fernandes
Kouyate
Anautovic
Carroll

Ayew will be good to have on the bench to come on but could start ahead of Sakho seeing as he had such a good game against Spurs to get us here.

"Problem is that even if we win it's probable we'll have Chelsea, Man U or Man City as Semi final opponents. Then one of those in the final"

Which'll pretty much always be the case, there or thereabouts. Let's not give up on winning a bloody trophy for once...

Re: Team V Arsenal (quarter final)
Noble picked up a hamstring injury during the clash and joins Cheikhou Kouyate (hamstring) and Edimilson Fernandes (ankle) on the sidelines.

The Hammers could also be without Pablo Zabaleta who injured a thigh muscle and Marko Arnautovic who is doubtful with a calf problem.

Andy Carroll (back) and Sam Byram (thigh) are also unavailable.

Fucking hell.
